In November, the secondary apartment market in Lithuania maintained high activity and positive trends

In November 2024, 841 purchase and sale transactions were concluded in the secondary apartment market in Vilnius, i.e. 0.2 percent more than in October and 53.5 percent more than in November a year ago. In Kaunas, 346 transactions were concluded, i.e. 2.0 percent less than in October and 51.1 percent more than in November a year ago. In Klaipėda, 220 transactions were concluded, i.e. 16.3 percent less than in October and 44.7 percent more than in November a year ago. According to the data of the “1Partner LT” housing price index “1PI”, in the secondary market the total price level of apartments in Vilnius increased by 0.3 percent (7 euros/ sq. m), in Kaunas it decreased by 0.4 percent (5 euros/ sq. m), in Klaipėda it remained unchanged (0 euros/ sq. m). Over the year, prices in Vilnius increased by 0.8 percent (15 euros/ sq. m) to 1972 euros/ sq. m. In Kaunas, apartment prices increased by 0.7 percent (9 euros/ sq. m) to 1289 euros/ sq. m. In Klaipėda, prices decreased by 0.4 percent (5 euros/ sq. m) to 1258 euros/ sq. m.
